It’s like I’ve reached a delightful finishing line. Until I realise that it’s a delusion to see this as the end. Three exams to go, none of which I have started to revise for. I’ve just been too preoccupied with stress for my English Literature exam. Now it’s over and I’m left a little dazed. I’m forgetting that I have exams still to complete, revision begins again tomorrow. Tonight I reckon my brain deserves a rest. Emily Dickinson is still dancing round it’s ‘corridors’.
Today has been the best day since Friday. Friday feels like a century away, that’s what four days of hard core revision does to you…. Yet I still forget the basics in the exam. *groan*
At lunch my fretful nature made me forget a basic rule of intelligence, at all costs, don’t lock your keys in your locker. I was distracted. These things happen to the best of us. I realised my mistake as soon as I’d clammed down the lock. Hopefully my fiery ginger locker companion will have only sympathy for my stupidity. I have a new lock if that helps… Besides I was glad to brighten the technician’s mood… even if it was the 20th time to day. It seems that it’s a common mistake among college students.
